The Krkonoše Beer Trail is 35 kilometres long. It connects four microbreweries. The trail leads through the most beautiful parts of the Krkonoše Mountains and you can combine it with a hike to the highest mountain, Sněžka, however, the breweries are the main destinations. And if you manage to drink at least two beers at every stop, the Krkonoše Beer Trail will reward you: you will get stamps in the breweries and when you fill in all four boxes, you will receive a small gift in the final brewery.
Stop by at the Andula guesthouse at Friesovy boudy where you can taste the Fries beer. Another two breweries are situated in Vrchlabí. The first one is a family-owned brewery called Hendrych, and the other one is the Pivovarská Bašta brewery and hotel with beer called Krkonošský medvěd (the bear of Krkonoše). Accept an invitation from the Malá Úpa mountain dwellers to have the delicious Trautenberk beer.
Since this is not a loop trail, you can start your wanderings either in Malá Úpa, or in Vrchlabí.
