Would you like to travel back in time to a Moravian village? You will find out how they celebrated Easter or the harvest festival and what the so-called “Closing of the Vineyard” custom was all about. In the complex made up of buildings from the Moravské Kopanice, Luhačovické Zálesí and wealthy Horňácko regions, you will experience the authentic atmosphere of a Moravian village in the 19th century, in which it was usual to dress up in richly embroidered folk costumes. You will also find an exhibition here of technical buildings, meadow farming and viniculture with a real vineyard, historical pressing plant and wine cellars. You will thus discover what the whole process of cultivating grapes entailed. What is more, the open-air museum comes alive during the last weekend in June with programmes held within the Strážnice International Folklore Festival.
