This large natural body of water is located on the outskirts of the city of Chomutov and features maintained beaches and water amusements

Its alum base provides the water with special, particularly dermatological, qualities, and the lake has been dubbed a natural beauty salon. If you don’t feel like swimming, you can take your children to the zoo in Chomutov or to the adjacent Stará Ves (Old Settlement) outdoor museum of folk architecture – the centre of regional folk art.

The largest Czech zoo by area presents animals and nature of the Palearctic region of Europe and Asia and North Africa. The ZOO has two parts - the Eurosafari in natural environment and classical runs and enclosures with an open-air museum.
