Prague Airport receives two Awards and assumes Management of Several Services
For the Third Time, Prague Airport Wins Title of Best European Airport Handling 15 – 25 Million Passengers Based on Customer Satisfaction. At the beginning of 2021, Prague Airport also received the new Voice of the Customer award.

Prague Airport Receives Voice of the Customer Award

This award goes to airports which, despite the demanding and unprecedented year 2020, took extra steps to provide comfort and safety to their passengers. The ACI Airport Health Accreditation certificate, obtained last autumn, and the current Voice of the Customer award confirm that Prague Airport has been moving in the right direction since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic. The Voice of the Customer award is supported also by ACI's new partner, Amadeus.

2020 Airport Service Quality Award

Prague Airport has also received the 2020 Airport Service Quality Award, presented annually by the Airports Council International (ACI) to the best airports with the highest provable level of customer satisfaction with the services provided. Prague Airport has thus received the award in the category of 15 – 25 million handled passengers for the third time with the airports in Helsinki and St. Petersburg recognised in the same category.

Prague Airport Assumes Management of Several Services

Effective March 2021, Václav Havel Airport Prague is to assume under its management the operations of assistance services for passengers with reduced mobility and orientation (PRM) and oversize baggage check-in counters. Until now, these services were provided by an external supplier, the MaidPro Service company. All services will be provided to passengers under the same regime as before. It is Prague Airport’s goal to increase their quality and gain the opportunity to respond to potential changes in a more flexible manner.

Prague Airport offers assistance services on both departures and arrivals. There is a total of 20 contact points across the airport premises, from which passengers can request assistance. There is also one comfort zone within the contact point at each terminal building, where an airport assistant attends to the passenger directly.
