Three observation decks from the Czech Republic were included in a ranking of 70 of the world’s most popular and affordable observation decks compiled by the German online travel comparison and booking website Omio.

The methodology of the ranking consisted in rounding up 70 of the world’s most popular observation decks and analyzing their ticket prices “to determine which building offers the most height per pound, arguably, therefore, the best value for money.” The study was conducted in March 2023.
Ranked seventh out of 70, the Cathedral of St. Bartholomew is also the oldest in the top 10, with constructions starting in 1295, and the only cathedral. Omio says its height stands at 338 feet (103 meters), and its entrance fee at $1.56, meaning that the price per foot to soak in the views from its top is $0.005.
Two other observation decks from the Czech Republic that made it in the top 70 were the Prague TV Tower in Žižkov (with a height of 216 meters, and an entry fee of CZK 308), in the 33rd place; and the St. Vitus Cathedral, also in Prague (with a height of 97 meters, and an entry fee of CZK 157).
