Rock for People

When: 08-11 June
Rock for People is one of the largest Czech rock music festivals. The festival takes place at a former military airport in Hradec Králové in East Bohemia. This year, you can enjoy bands such as MUSE, SLIPKNOT, ARCHITECTS,  BILLY TALENT, MACHINE GUN KELLY, SIMPLE PLAN, THE1975, INCUBUS, PAPA ROACH and HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD.

Metronome Festival Prague

When: 22-24 June
Metronome Festival Prague is a multi-genre festival in the capital city of Czechia. It focuses on all age groups and genre areas. This year’s festival is the fourth instalment and it will take place on the premises of Prague Výstaviště. You can look forward to JAMIROQUAI, TOVE LO, ZAZ, AURORA, M83, MODERAT, EDITORS,  WHITE LIES, BIIG PIIG, HOLLY HUMBERSTONE, SIR CHLOE or DAVID PENN.

Beats for Love

When: 05-08 July
Beats for Love is the largest festival of electronic music in Central Europe and it takes place every year in Ostrava in North Moravia, inside the industrial site of Lower Vítkovice. The surroundings, full of metal scenes, is filled with a lot of music and an interesting programme for four days. The festival will host top-tier stars: legend of the dance scene TIËSTO, Canadian DJ DEADMAU5, DJ and hitmaker HARDWELL, BLASTERJAXX, or IMANBEK.

Bohemia Jazz Fest

When: 11-18 July
Prague, Plzeň, Hluboká nad Vltavou, PrachaticeDomažlice, and Brno are all host cities of the summer jazz festival. Bohemia Jazz Fest will make the historic squares of these six Czech cities dance from 11 to 18 July. It is a summer ritual where jazz fans from all over Central Europe meet to hear and see the greatest global jazz musicians – completely free of charge.

Colours of Ostrava

When: 19-22 July
Colours of Ostrava is one of the largest summer festivals in the Czech Republic. In autumn 2017, it was rated as one of the top ten festivals in the prestigious European Festival Awards survey. The multi-genre music takes place every year in Ostrava, in the amazing surroundings of the industrial premises of former smelting plants, mines and ironworks of Lower Vítkovice. This year, the festival will host such worldwide stars as ONEREPUBLIC, MACKLEMORE, BURNA BOY, ELLIE GOULDING, INTERPOL, NIALL HORAN, or JACOB COLLIER, and there will also be movies, discussions, workshops, and theatrical performances.

Brutal Assault                                                           

When: 09-12 August
Brutal Assault is a unique metal music festival that takes place annually on the premises of a former military fortress of Josefov in Jaroměř, approx. 20 kilometres from Hradec Králové. During four festival days, 80 bands from throughout the world will present themselves on three stages.
