The Fragile Beauty Exhibition, the largest international exhibition of glass and jewelry in the Czech Republic, was inspired by the tradition of the great jewelry exhibitions that took place in Jablonec nad Nisou in the 1960s and 70s. In addition to the exhibition stands of dozens of companies that maintain the traditions of the Jizera Mountains, you will see a variety of techniques for working with glass, jewelry and ceramics.
You will enjoy demonstrations of glass blowing, the crushing of glass stone, grinding, engraving and glass painting, the technique of underpainting on glass, and creating blown figures or black jewelry. The program also includes presentations by glass artists, concerts and fashion shows of clothing and jewelry creations.
