Beer Trail of the Lusatian Mountains

Beer Trail of the Lusatian Mountains

Through the mecca of north Bohemian breweries

The Lusatian Mountains with their volcanic clumps are a picturesque mountain range in the north of Bohemia, a Mecca for brewers and beer lovers alike. A few kilometres away, larger and smaller breweries and microbreweries with an often long-standing long tradition of beer brewing are also part of the area.

Large industrial breweries in the Lusatian Mountains include Svijany, Rohozec and Konrád in Vratislavice. Another group are important local breweries and micro-breweries, such as the Cvikov brewery, Frýdlant, Rezek, Novosad & syn, Lomnické pivo, Maloskalský brewery, Vendelín Liberec, Volt Jablonec nad Nisou and others.

Microbreweries, breweries and local beer businesses are now connected by the enticing Beer Trail. It also offers a fun way to experience one brewery after another. The Lusatian Mountains Beer Trail can be walked from start to finish in a few days, and on a bike in a weekend. A sense of feeling, craftsmanship, experience and diligence are the basic essences of the art of brewing the best beer. The breweries that can be visited on the Beer Trail are Kotouč, Cvikov, Born, Lípák, Falkenštejn, Kocour and the micro-breweries Skalický Budulínek, Helene.
