The Church of St. Moritz can be seen as an impressive textbook of architectural styles from the Gothic to the Renaissance and Baroque to the Neo-Gothic. Also deserving of your attention is the church organ which is one of the largest in Europe.
The triple nave of the Church of St. Moritz is vaulted by Gothic cross vault and the interior has undergone many adjustments over the centuries until it reached its present Neo-Gothic appearance. There are Renaissance and Baroque chapels adjoining the church. Two asymmetrical prism-shaped towers have been added to the west front. A unique winding staircase is located by the west wall of the church.
The organ dates back to 1745. After a refurbishment in 1960s, the original Baroque division with three manuals was supplied with another modern division with five manuals. The organ thus has 135 registers and 10,400 pipes altogether and is the largest in Central Europe and eighth largest in Europe.
