There are days when the weather is simply not good enough for heading outdoors or visiting historic landmarks. And water parks are great for such days! Many of the water parks are open year-round, and as such you can enjoy the fun, wellness and sports in many forms whatever the weather. And what water park attraction do you like the most?

Aquapark Čestlice

If you are in Prague or Central Bohemia looking for a warm place to stay while the storm passes, Aquapark Čestlice near Prague is a good choice. It is one of the largest water parks in Central Europe. You can look forward to an amazing water world, various saunas, spa and modern fitness. The area is divided into several parts, for example, there is the Treasure Palace for your children, the Adventure Palace for a bit of adrenalin or the Relaxation Palace. The Šutka swimming pool in Prague is one of the most modern water parks. Velké Losiny Thermal Park

The thermal park in Velké Losiny, in the foothills of the Jeseníky Mountains in Moravia, is unique because the pools are filled with natural thermal water. There are several pools there, one of which is called Therapeutic where you can not only relax, but also take care of your skin thanks to the effects of the mineral water. Naturally, there are various attractions, slides and other fun things one can find in a water park.

Thermalium Teplice

The Teplice Spa in northwest Bohemia is known for its history and spa tradition. The recently opened area in the Beethoven bath house called Thermalium also follows this tradition. It is a complex of the largest and warmest pools with purely thermal water in Bohemia. The sauna world and the children’s wellness centre is a bit smaller, and we recommend this place to those who enjoy peace and quiet!

Municipal Spa Aquacentrum in Hradec Králové

All you need to be happy in the water can also be found in the east Bohemian Municipal Spa in Hradec Králové. You can go down an 82-metre-long tunnel slide with light effects, swim in the pool, enjoy artificial waves, and rest in a whirlpool or a hot pool. Visitors who want relaxation can enjoy the round pool with bubble beds at a temperature of 37°C. There are water jets and an artificial current in the pool. The sauna and massages go without saying.

AquaPark Frymburk

The quiet village of Frymburk lies in South Bohemia, by the Lipno reservoir. There, you will find one of the largest wellness hotels in the Czech Republic.
