The treatment provided here today has a history going back 150 years, and was pioneered by a gentleman called Johann Schroth. Schroth's spa in Dolní Lipová is a picturesque place on the border of Hrubý Jeseník and the Rychlebské Mountains in the very center of a popular tourist area. The traditional spa treatment and rehabilitation care, today a modern spa facility, is preserved. It is based on the use of natural healing climatic conditions, unique Lipov herbal mixtures in combination with classical and state-of-the-art treatment and rehabilitation methods. It focuses mainly on the treatment of non-infectious skin diseases (especially psoriasis), metabolic diseases, respiratory diseases and mental disorders.

Lipová-lázně is a beautiful corner of Jeseníky and Rychlebské Mountains at any time of year. In the winter season, guests are attracted by the two ski resorts and the long surrounding cross-country ski runs. From early spring to late autumn there are ideal conditions for hiking and biking.

The most popular tourist destinations include the stalactite caves Na Pomezí, the Johann Schroth Museum and the Silesian Semmering Museum and Jeseník Town.

SCHROTH, spol. s r.o. Lázně Dolní Lipová

The owner and operator of Lázní Dolní Lipová is the 100% Czech SCHROTH, spol. s r.o., established in 1992. Eight spa houses with a total capacity of around 270 beds are used to accommodate the spa guests. Over 3,000 guests visit the spa every year. The spa also operates specialist out-patient services – a consulting room for treatment of internal illnesses, skin diseases and an out-patient clinic for myoskeletal medicine.
