The history of Lázně Teplice nad Bečvou dates back to the year 1553. It belongs to one of the oldest spas in Moravia. You can find us in the Olomouc region in the area of the towns of Hranice and Teplice nad Bečvou. The first stone spa was built by the owner of the Hranice estate, Jan Kropáč of Nevědomí, in 1553. Directly below the spa buildings, there are rock crevices that connect to an extensive cave system. It is there where the miraculous healing water springs, heavily enriched with minerals and carbon dioxide – today called the acidulous mineral water of Teplice.
The local spa care does not only help restore strength to adults but also children from 1,5 years and adolescents. Curative stays are especially suitable for the rehabilitation of the circulatory and nervous system, musculoskeletal system, treatment of metabolic disorders (diabetes mellitus), and obesity in children. We also offer our care to oncology patients.
