The Moravian cycle path measures over 300 km

From the Jeseník Mountains to the town of Mikulov by bike

This cycle path measures more than three hundred kilometres. It starts on the Czech-Polish state border and ends in South Moravia. It will take you to a Baroque chateau and exhibition of regional traditions and crafts.
The first stop is in Jeseníky in Mikulovice; from there it leads to the village of Hanušovice, where a famous brewery and brewery museum are located. From the city, head along the Morava River and ride through the bottomland forests of the Litovelské Pomoraví Protected Landscape Area to the city of Olomouc. Be sure to take a few hours to explore this city, which fascinates tourists with the beauty of its Baroque monuments. From Olomouc, the route continues to Tovačov, which features a Renaissance chateau. Another historical gem awaits you in the town of Kroměříž… The local Baroque castle and gardens in the English and French styles are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Head further through the towns of Napajedla and Uherské Hradiště, where you can see the local Museum of Moravian Slovakia. An exposition of regional traditions and crafts awaits you – the collection of richly decorated hand-embroidered costumes is especially noteworthy. Continue to the towns of Hodonín and Břeclav to the area of the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape, which will surely not only captivate you with its neo-Gothic castle, but also with the immediate surrounding area. At the end of the route, impressive scenery of rolling hills and vineyards awaits you in the Pálava Protected Landscape Area, which is called Moravian Tuscany. The bike trip ends in Mikulov, where you cannot overlook the castle or the monumental tomb of the Dietrichstein family, which managed the Mikulov estate for centuries. Also visit one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in the Czech Republic. It was founded in the 15th Century and contains 4,000 tombstones. The last important landmark on this route will be Pohansko Castle with its old Slavic fort. This castle is part of the structures of the Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape, which is entered in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
