The trails are of varying difficulty level and both beginner cyclists, families with children and more experienced riders will all find trails to suit their needs.

Trail Park Klínovec

Trail Park Klínovec

In the city forests of Jáchymov, discover 24 km of gradually descending smooth trails specially designed for the pleasure of mountain biking. The trails are graded into three levels of difficulty, and both beginner cyclists, families with children and more experienced riders will find something to suit them.

For the most skilled riders, Bikepark and Trail Park Klínovec has prepared a 3.3 km long downhill run. The four-seater Prima Express cable car will take you back to the beginning of the trails. Complete beginners can first try riding through off-road bumps on a pump track and improve their skills in skill centres at the starting points.

During your visit, use the services of the U Staré Lanovky restaurant near the beginning of the trails, refreshments at the lower station of the cable car, bicycle rental, bicycle shop and bicycle service. Free parking, a bike washing station and showers are available. You can combine the sections of the individual trails as you see fit with the help of contour forest paths marked on the map, or let yourself be comfortably led to your destination by one trail. However, always follow the rules of conduct on the trails and choose a trail that suits your equipment, skill level and physical condition.

As of May 2016, the low difficulty Azur Trail and the downhill run for pros have been in operation. From the beginning of June to the end of September 2020, the Prima Express cable car is open every day from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm. The moderate difficulty Rubin Trail with a total of 7 km is also not to be missed.

Trail Baron is one of the more challenging tracks. This is a trail for intermediate mountain bikers. However, this is not an overly difficult trail – those who can descend the medium-difficult Rubin safely and with confidence can also do the Baron. The biggest difference in comparison to lighter trails is the actual variability of the surface, where nature alternates between what visitors to the Trail Park know from the lighter Azur and Rubin trails.
