You can get to the ski centre in Ramzová directly by train, disembarking at the express stop with the highest elevation in the Czech Republic. You can also get there by ski bus, which runs along the Jeseník and Lipová-lázně route.
A 3-kilometre descent to the valley
Transport to the top of Šerák Mountain and its slopes is via two chairlifts and three ski lifts. From here, you will enjoy magnificent views of the Jeseníky Mountains and you can choose which of the seven runs you will take back down to the valley. Advanced skiers will be especially delighted by the two black runs, while less advanced skiers can pick from three red slopes and beginners can hone their style on two blue slopes. A particularly wonderful experience is guaranteed on the longest route, with a length of over 3 kilometres and a climb of 550 metres.
Find lodgings up in the clouds
The biggest summer and winter recreation centre in Moravia naturally offers a wide range of services and facilities. You can use the services of the equipment rental and ski school, and your taste buds will be pleased by the local restaurants and snack bars. It is possible to find accommodations directly at the ski area. For instance, there is a chalet located at the lower station of the chairlift and also at the very top of Šerák Mountain. In the morning when you open the window of your room, you will be greeted with a magnificent view of the majestic peaks of the Jeseníky Mountains.
Where else to go?
Just 10 kilometres from Ramzová lies the famous spa town of Jeseník, where the very first hydrotherapy institute in the world was established. Today, the town is an ideal starting point for exploring the surrounding mountains, and you can also unwind at the spa. For instance, you can take a trip to the highest Moravian mountain, Praděd, and then in evening return to the spa for an aromatic massage, an ethereal bath in Dead Sea salts, or a peat mask! From Ramzová you can reach the main route along the Jeseníky ridge, which is laced with many kilometres of cross-country trails.
