Aldrov Ski Resort

Vítkovice in the Giant Mountains will offer you an ideal place for a winter family holiday. In the 2 connected ski resorts of Aldrov and Vurmovka, you can ski on more than 5 kilometres of downhill trails, on which there are excellent conditions throughout the winter thanks to artificial snow. The slopes are floodlit, so you can also go night skiing here.

In the Aldrov Ski Resort, choose from 4 downhill runs of varying difficulty. Transportation on the 3 lines leading from Aldrov Hill (776 m) is provided by a four-seater cable car called the Presidential Express, as former President Václav Klaus took part in its grand opening. Part of the resort is also K2 Snowpark Vítkovice, which is one of the largest and best rated snow parks in the Czech Republic. Beginners and advanced freestyle skiers and snowboarders will enjoy themselves here, getting to try out over 30 obstacles and 6 jumps of various difficulty awaiting them here. The Snowpark has its own snow and ski lift.

Just get on the ski bus and you will reach Vurmovka in a matter of minutes. The slightly higher placed resort is ideal for families with children and recreational skiers. From the top of Vurmovka (850 m), there is one blue and one red ski slope, serviced by a lift. The snow-tubing track will keep your children happy and entertained.

In the fully equipped Aldrov Ski Resort, you will find all the necessary facilities to make the most of winter sports. There is a ski school, ski and snowboard service, rental, and a wide range of refreshments. For lovers of the groomed trail, several kilometres of cross-country trails with a connection to the Main Krkonoše Trail are regularly maintained in the area.
