Zbiroh Castle

This once early Gothic castle, now a neo-Renaissance chateau, Zbiroh is a popular daytrip destination and wedding venue all year round, mainly for its unique nature, picturesque setting and easy access from Prague and Plzeň. Zbiroh attracts visitors to its exceptional Chateau Hotel Zbiroh, where you can spend the night in rooms whose owners once included Rudolf II, Charles IV and Sigismund of Luxemburg. The list of famous people to have stayed at Zbiroh, or visited the castle, is a long one. This includes the painter Alfonse Mucha and his family.
