The only European Tour tournament in the Czech Republic is entering its seventh year, which will once again include the stars of not only European but also world golf. This prestigious golf event takes place on the Albatross golf course in Vysoký Újezd near Prague from 19 to 22 August 2021. Both experienced golf matadors and young players will take part. During the tournament, there will be several golf clinics with the main stars of the event, and a huge tournament village with activities for the whole family will be part of the complex. Czech Masters tournament

This year, the 7th year of the men's golf tournament of the European Tour world series will take place on the course near Prague. A total of 47 tournaments are played in 30 countries on all continents. 156 players take part in the tournament. Their results are included in the ranking of the series as well as in world rankings. D+D Real Czech Masters has an exceptional position since it is the penultimate tournament included in the qualification for the Ryder Cup, which is a prestigious duel between Europe and the USA. The final nominations for this duel will be decided here.

Stars of this year’s tournament

This year's D+D REAL Czech Masters recently announced its biggest star. Henrik Stenson will arrive at the Albatross golf course, introducing himself to Czech golf fans for the very first time. Other planned stars of the European Tour are Pádraig Harrington and Thomas Pieters. The Czech golf elite, led by Ondřej Lieser, a 29-year-old professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, will also be present. In 2020, he became the first golfer from the Czech Republic to win the Challenge Tour by winning the Andalucía Challenge de España, and the first Czech golfer to receive a full playing card on the European Tour.

About the Albatross golf course

The course, located just a few kilometres away from Prague and with an area of ​​more than 80 hectares, is built in a somewhat hilly terrain. Thanks to the good climatic conditions, the open-air golf season is one of the longest in Central Europe. The course has a par 72 and an area of ​​holes from 459 to 812 m² depending on the overall concept and difficulty of the hole. According to an independent internet vote from 2017, the Albatross golf course is the best course in the Czech Republic! Of course, there is also a generous training area with a team of coaches and a fitting centre for the most of demanding clients.
