Hotel Thermal

Hotel Thermal is located in the heart of Karlovy Vary, a few minutes' walk from the colonnades with healing mineral springs. Thermal offers accommodation in a total of 273 air-conditioned rooms with balconies and a magnificent view of the spa center. The Superior rooms were completely renovated in 2021 and are furnished in a modern style. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Hotel guests can also enjoy free access to Thermal Wellness, which offers indoor pool, whirlpool, infrared sauna, steam bath, Finnish sauna, fitness room and Kneipp walkway. By spring of 2022 will be accessible the outdoor heated swimming pool with year-round operation and separate pool with spring water as a part of the Saunia Thermal Resort. The pool of 10 by 15 meters filled exclusively with spring water is the largest pool with 100% spring water in Karlovy Vary.

History of the hotel
 
The modern sixteen-story high-rise building of reinforced concrete construction in functionalist style was built in 1967 – 1976 according to the project of Czech architects Věra and Vladimír Machonin. They personally supervised every detail and created a complex connecting the festival center, international hotel and thermal bath area.
