Chateau Lysice

The baroque building on the site of a Renaissance water fortress, modified at the beginning of the 19th century, stands out for its magnificent and richly furnished interiors. They present visitors with the environment and style of the leading Moravian count family Dubský z Třebomyslice.

Richly decorated interiors with collections of furniture, glass, porcelain or paintings attract tourists to Lysice. Also interesting is the exhibition of historical theaters and puppets or the garden, in which there is a promenade colonnade, an orangery and castle horticulture.

Also interesting is the reconstructed historic armory, which with its 2,000 weapons is one of the largest in Moravia.
