Set out for the historical city of Kutná Hora in search of modern art. You will find the Gallery of the Central Bohemian Region (GASK) in one of the city’s dominant features, in the extensive Baroque Jesuit College. The gallery specialises in fine art of the 20th and 21st century, but does also showcase older art in short-term exhibitions. In the permanent exhibition, you will learn how Czech art of the 20th century developed. The Education Centre will ensure that your children will not get bored in the gallery. Oprócz sztuki współczesnej można tu również znaleźć średniowieczne iluminacje z motywami przedstawiającymi wydobycie i obróbkę srebra, pochodzące właśnie z Kutnej Hory z okresu XV wieku. Z południowej wieży rozciąga się wyjątkowy widok na całą Kutną Horę, na czele z tutejszą ikoną architektury - gotycką świątynią św. Barbary.
