PGA National Czech Republic | Oaks Prague

A combination of the superlative course design, and world class leading service and agronomy standards has led to the PGA National CR being recognised as the Best Course in Europe and the Czech Republic in 2020 at the World Golf Awards.

Opened in 2020, the only PGA National licensed golf course in the Czech Republic is a part of Oaks Prague, a modern community of premium homes nestled in a beautiful 140-hectare country estate, southeast of Prague.
The PGA National Czech Republic golf course is centred around a 19th century Bohemian style chateau which was home to the Von Schüttelsberg family. Originally built as a hunting lodge.

The golf course was designed by the world-renowned golf designer Kyle Phillips. A pioneer of environmentally sustainable design. His style is very distinctive and has been recognised with four courses ranking in the world’s top 100. The golf course has been routed to flow through the beautiful Czech countryside and takes advantage of the different ‘rooms’ and views that add to the courses memorability.

The PGA National CR is managed by Troon Privé, which focuses on making private clubs relevant, healthy, and sustainable for decades to come. On an international level, Troon Privé is a highly regarded market leader in golf club management.

Even though the course is designed to challenge the best professionals from the back tees, players of all skill levels will appreciate the flow of the course. Also, there are design elements found on the great links courses, such as multiple lines of play and rewards for players who have honed their shot making skills. The PGA National Czech Republic meeting the highest design and playing surface standards, is capable of hosting international professional golf tournaments whilst retaining playability for members and visitors.
