Designblok is one of the largest and most prestigious events of its kind in Central Europe and Prague offers a good example of it to other European cities. This selective show is dedicated to design in all its forms. This indoor exhibition offers a fashion show, displays of jewelry, clothing, furniture, home furnishings, lighting, and industrial and utilitarian design from top Czech designers. Designblok represents not only individual creators, but also design studios, schools, and visionary projects from international brands. You can also enjoy a show with the works of the winners of the National Award for Student Design, which has taken place in various forms since 1991.
As part of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU, an exhibition called Terra Alba will be held as part of Designblok. You can visit it from 4 to 9 October 2022 at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. The exhibition will introduce a new wave of Czech designers and porcelain manufactures, who, together with their mentors, place Czech china and ceramics at the forefront of the international scene. After the Designblok, the Terra Alba exhibition will move to the Moravian Gallery in Brno and will be available to other interested parties.
